What if it were easy — genuinely easy — for any neighbor to start something with the people on their block?
That’s the idea behind Every One Every Day, a community-building model from the UK where thousands of residents launched hundreds of neighbor-run projects over six years: shared kitchens, tool libraries, play streets, small businesses started together. Neighbors making everyday life better, with practical support to get going.
Columbia City neighbor Eric Higbee has spent time with the model in the UK and worked to bring it to Yesler Terrace here in Seattle. He’ll share what he saw, what worked, and where it got hard.
After a short presentation, we’ll talk together about what pieces of this the Neighbors Club or other community groups could actually use.
And we will have food!
